Elephant Encounters Every Evening
Hwange National Park is the largest national park in Zimbabwe and covers a staggering 14,500 km2 in size. The Park is specifically known for its large elephant herds, being home to the near endangered wild dog as well as offering an abundance of birds that attract experienced and novice birders from around the globe. The Park also offers over 50 man-made water holes to service the otherwise arid area in the long and dry winter months which makes the game much easier to spot in such a large area.
